In the past few months I have been having fun making crochet baby blankets, no babies in sight but I just love making blankets!

I made this lovely rainbow coloured using a bunch of scraps yarn I have from my very large collection of Style Craft special DK
Love working with this yarn specially for blankets. As always you can make this blanket with any dk (double knitting) yarn, as long as the yarn calls for a G hook, (4mm) you are all set!

I called this one a silver rainbow. As always you can find it on my ravelry shop
You can choose any neutral colour to use with the rainbow. For example I used silver but you can always do a cream or tan.

My second one is the white and black (and aqua, and yellow, and green…)

It all started with a simple white and black block.

But very fast I started having fun with a whole bunch of colours!

Some how I think the beauty of this crochet pattern is on it’s border!

It’s simple and understated but I am particularly happy with it!
