crochet fingerless gloves

Hi all, as promised I have been a really busy bee and this week I have released two new crochet patterns! I am very happy with these two, I went forwards and back with both until I was happy with them.

I work in quite a few projects at the time, I have always, one or two projects on my hooks, at least one in my needles and lots and lots of drawing of everything that runs around my head! So as predicted some weeks I don’t get to finished anything!, this week I finished two! 🙂 (you cannot see it but I am patting my own back right now)…

Anyway, YOU are the ones who have the last word on anything that I do, so please let me know what you think. First up I finished the lace arm warmer, (here I need to add… finally!), this one really got me thinking, I wanted something different but the lace just didn’t seem to work for me, I ended up adding the bobble stitches to introduce more texture to the lace, and I wanted to have the knit look around the hands and wrists. You can find it on my Etsy, Ravelry and Craftsy shops.

The second pattern of the week I am really happy with, this is a pixie hat with a plait running around the front to close, I just loved the colour of the yarn when I saw it in the supermarket, do you have Lidl on your country?, they were selling this really great quality new wool from New Zealand, it is so soft and feels so luxurious!. You can use any bulky weight yarn to make this beauty.
